Episodes Guide (SPOILER WARNING)
Episode 0: The Tragedy of Darth Jarjar- Episode 0 is a prequel to the prequels, both a parody and serious, it acts as a point of connection between the phantom menace and the AU, being compatable with either. It also attempts a serious telling of the fan fiction theory about Jarjar Binks being a Sith lord. In Tragedy, a young Sheeve Palpetine meets the Gungan Jedi Jarjar Binks deep in the swamps of Naboo. Taking control of his mind, Jarjar begins to shape and train Palpatine to exact his revenge on the genocidal Naboo who slaughter and subjugate his people. Palpetine becomes a Jedi and Jarjar uses him to exact his revenge upon the Naboo and ultimately helps his apprentice to come to power.

FOUNDATION ERA
Episode VII: The Council of Yavin- Starts roughly 3 or 4 years after The Battle Of Endor, Luke, Han, Leia and Lando are important figures in the emerging New Republic, Han and Leia stay on Coruscant and are married, they have just had their third child, Ben Solo. Their first two children are twins Jacen and Jaina, who are almost 2. Han and Leia struggle to maintain radical political principals as liberal and conservative forces try to reestablish the New Republic.
Luke Skywalker is focused on founding a new Jedi Academy, he travels to a remote planet with a few followers and builds a settlement. At the start of Act 1, he has begun to travel in search of Jedi recruits and lost Jedi teachings. His search leads him to a remote planet with an ancient history of Jedi activity.
Lando Calrissian is grand admiral of the Republic Navy, he remains a political radical despite his position and lends much needed assistance to Han and Leia in their political and later military struggles.
Various factions vie for power as the New Republic is solidified, there are various planetary governments, corporate powers, and a faction of political radicals made up of former rebel leaders, Mon Mothma, Admiral Ackbar, Lando Calrissian, Thalia (a Bothan from Thrawn Trilogy), ect.
Imperial remnants begin to emerge as a significant threat, they unexpectedly take an important outer system. This triggers a shift in the political situation and leads to intense centralization of power, resisted by the rebel political faction. Ultimately it is discovered the Grand Admiral Thrawn has survived the fall of the Empire and is rallying imperial forces in an ambitious campaign to retake the galaxy.
Luke discovers the ruins of a civilization and begins searching for surviving information. He is surprised when a young woman appears suddenly pointing a blaster and demanding to know who he is. After discussion she is revealed to be Mara Jade, a heretical Jedi who was captured a few years before The Battle of Yavin and forced to serve the Emperor. After the death of the Emperor she escaped from the Imperial’s and returned to her home world, finding it utterly destroyed.
There is however a vast underground complex which survived imperial bombardment, Mara Jade has been living there for some time before Luke arrived on the trail of hidden Jedi teachings. Mara emerges after watching him for a while and they speak. Realizing she is force sensitive Luke asks Mara to train with him at the academy, she rejects his offer and claims to have lost heretical Jedi teachings that Luke doesn’t know, she offers to train him. Luke is very taken aback and initially doesn’t believe she could really know things Yoda didn’t, he is also biased because Mara Jade is young (25 ish) and a woman. Ultimately Mara is able to prove herself to Luke by showing him the underground complex and giving him a remaining piece of the lost teachings.
Luke realizes Mara is trained in a lost Jedi art, in fact she knows the secret history of the heretical Jedi and the inquisition. He finally humbles himself enough to ask Mara to teach him what she knows, she agrees and they go back to the academy together.
Episode VIII: The Lost Jedi- Begins a few years after Episode VII, Thrawn strikes again unexpectedly, and in such a way that it unbalanced the New Republic leadership and leaves everyone feeling vulnerable. A huge military effort is launched throughout Episode VIII, ending in defeat after defeat for the New Republic Navy. With Thrawn taking more and more systems he is approaching Coruscant with unsettling speed.
Near the End, Thrawn launches a surprise attack against Coruscant and occupies the Republic Capital. Luke reluctantly mobilizes the Jedi for war. Jaina, Jacen and Ben are on Coruscant during the invasion and subsequent occupation. Ben is very young (5-6?) and not yet a strong force user, he is not ready for battle, however Jaina and Jacen are 9-10 and proficient force users and adventurers (for kids), they start participating in the rebellion against the occupation of Coruscant, meeting resistance members and providing invaluable assistance with their force powers ect. Ben is left behind to fend for himself and is traumatized by the situation. Jaina and Jacen don’t care because they are heros and enjoy the battle.
Episode IX: Wrath of the Alliance- Begins a year or so later, Thrawn still holds Coruscant. In the opening of Wrath of the Alliance Luke, Mara and the other Jedi lead a courageous assault and retake Coruscant, this occupies roughly the first half of the movie. In the second half the Republic mobilizes an offensive war to retake all Imperial controlled systems and wipe out Thrawn. Luke, Leia and Han are worried about the resulting escalation but reactionaries win out the day and massive armada is deployed against the Empire. Thrawn is defeated and killed, all Imperial remnants are brutally destroyed and loyalists are purged from occupied systems. The Republic is victorious though tainted.
Episode X: Heirs of the Republic- Takes place roughly 15 years after the first. Jaina, Jacen and Ben Skywalker are now in their mid to early twenties and are living an aloof lifestyle. Though all powerful Jedi, they never received more than the most basic formal training from Luke due to the chaotic circumstances of their childhood as much as Luke's own confusion about whether to teach more traditional or heretical teachings. By the time Luke feels Jaina, Jacen and Ben are old enough to learn they have already rejected authority of any kind. Youthful and careless Jacen and Jaina travel around getting into adventures and helping or fighting whomever they desire. Ben trailed after them, the younger and less charismatic, he is becoming more distant from his siblings, whose constant grandstanding and attention seeking leaves him feeling alone, unseen and alienated.
Finn is a storm trooper serving in the Republic Navy. He is young but accomplished, however he feels increasingly unsure about the goodness of the Republic and eventually discovers and joins a network of resistors within the Republic Military. They plan to escape from military service and break out as many prisoners as possible, however the plan goes increasingly South with more and more conspirators captured and executed. With Rey’s home destroyed and many of her friends killed or captured by the Republic, she chooses to escape with Finn and Poe.
Things turn worse and worse as the Republic closes in on Rey, Finn and Poe, escape seems increasingly impossible. By a stroke of chance the three encounter Jaina, Jacen who were on Jakku freeing slaves and generally causing trouble when the Republic went crazy looking for the escapees. It is a pivotal moment for the Solo children, Jacen and Jaina are struck with duty and purpose, they decide to help Rey, Finn and Poe to escape.
