Welcome to the Star Wars Alternative Universe: A project to re-write the Star Wars Prequels and Sequels in a manner more consistent with the original trilogy and the spirit with which it was crafted.
We imagine a whole new set of Star Wars Prequels, centering on Episode II: Twilight of the Republic, set at the end of the clone wars and featuring Obiwan, Anakin and Padme as they struggle with the new realities of a post war Republic.
With these re-writes we are forging something which can hopefully grow one day into a massive grassroots project to actually create new Star Wars movies. With the new prevalence of fan made films that come close to equaling commercial levels of production, it is entirely possible to imagine a new series of films being created.
